Job Description

Firefighter Minimum Requirements:

• $35 non-refundable application fee

• United States citizen
• No felony convictions
• Must be 21 years of age, and under 35 years of age at time of application, or as otherwise exempt by statute
• High school diploma (or its equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Illinois State Certified EMT-Paramedic license at time of hire.
• Valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card and approved Ladder Climb Card due at time of written exam (issued within one year of written exam date)
• Residency within 30-mile radius of Bolingbrook required within 18 months of appointment
